I'm definitely not an expert, this is the one and only shaving brush I've ever used, so I can't really compare it to others, but hey, it works!
Builds up a nice lather and gets it onto my face... I've used it regularly for about 2 months now and it's holding up nicely; no hair loss, no damage to the wooden handle, holding its shape, etc., etc., etc.

As I write this review, it's selling for .25 (I paid .52) I would have been equally pleased with it at twice the price!

just got this brush and impressed with the quality. Great value for compared to some brushes that are priced much higher. I can't see why anyone would shell out more for a fancier brush when this one is so good. Glad I bought it..good deal
